Trend Line

A trendline is a line that is drawn over the highs or the lows of a security to show its direction. This is formed when you draw a diagonal line between two or more price pivot points. An uptrend line is a line that connects the consecutive higher lows of a security. A downtrend line, on the other hand, is a line that connects the lower highs of a security.
